I didn’t come back from Afghanistan the same man who left.
Like many of you, I returned carrying more than memories or experiences I could neatly explain. I carried disorientation, a fractured sense of purpose, and the quiet weight that settles in when the mission ends but life keeps moving. There was a period where I found myself in an internal abyss—functional on the outside, but disconnected, restless, and unsure where to aim my energy.
I didn’t climb out by luck or time alone.
I approached my recovery the only way I knew how: with discipline, structure, and an uncompromising commitment to understanding how the mind actually works under pressure. I immersed myself in psychology, behavior, identity, stress, and performance. I studied what breaks people—and what allows them to rebuild themselves with intention. Through evidence-based psychology and coaching, I rebuilt clarity, direction, and internal stability.
That journey is the foundation of Velanegra Performance Psychology and Coaching.
This work exists for veterans who know they’re capable of more but feel stalled, burned out, disconnected, or underutilized in civilian life. Veterans who don’t want platitudes, hype, or surface-level motivation—but who are ready for a serious, psychologically grounded approach to performance, leadership, and identity after service.
This is not therapy repackaged. It is not feel-good coaching. It is structured, high-accountability performance psychology designed for people who understand responsibility, standards, and hard truths.
If you’re a veteran seeking clarity, direction, or a way to translate who you were into who you are becoming, I invite you to explore our veteran coaching plans. These programs are built with respect for your intelligence, your experience, and your capacity to lead your own life again with precision and purpose.
You are not broken.
But you may need a sharper framework—and someone who understands both the battlefield and the mind.
